Hyundai Motor India Foundation Donates INR 80 Lakh ALS Ambulances

Pune: Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., donated two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances to Primary Health Centres in Takve and Yelse villages of Maval Taluka, Pune.

This initiative, with an investment of ₹80 lakh, is part of the Foundation’s flagship healthcare program, Sparsh Sanjeevani.

The ambulances were handed over during an official ceremony graced by Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra; Dada Bhuse, Minister of School Education; Jaykumar Gore, Minister of Rural Development; and Dr Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, among others.

Representing Hyundai Motor India Limited were Puneet Anand, AVP & Vertical Head – Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication and Social, and Saurabh Sharma, Domain Head – CSV.

High-Impact, Life-Saving Support for Rural Healthcare

The state-of-the-art ALS ambulances are fully equipped with ventilators, oxygen supply systems, manual and electric suction pumps, and bag-mask ventilation devices for adults and children. Designed to respond to a wide range of emergencies – including trauma, chronic illnesses, and maternal healthcare – these ambulances provide critical pre-hospital support in regions where healthcare access is limited.
